Paco De Lucia and my teacher, Richard Lawrence

I just love this photo of my teacher Richard Lawrence with Paco De Lucia ‘back in the day’!

I remember him proudly showing it me near the time when he  met Paco. The picture resurfaced when Monty provided me with all Richard’s music/tab (see previous post!)

I feel truly privileged to have learnt from such a fantastic teacher who personally knew Paco de Lucia and Paco Pena and can teach his material to my students, as well as enjoy playing the music myself of course!
