‘I can’t praise Tim enough, he is an absolute joy to learn from. I started flamenco guitar lessons just over a year ago because I loved listening to flamenco music and thought I would have a go at learning the basics for a bit of fun fuelled by curiosity. I was slightly unsure because I came with little more than the ability to thrash out a few popular 70s and 80s rock riffs on the electric guitar.
However, Tim’s teaching techniques, encouragement and infectious love of the guitar (as well as the occasional performance) have made my flamenco journey far more fulfilling and productive than I could ever have imagined, and long may it continue!
It was lovely to receive Nick’s testimonial, he really has fully immersed himself in flamenco guitar. It is a joy to see his absolute pleasure in hearing what he is about to learn and then play it with ever increasing levels of technique and musicality. It was also great when he came to my guitar studio with a brand new flamenco guitar! I look forward to continue teaching him many fine traditional and contemporary flamenco pieces. It’s been a great journey so far!
