A well known fun piece to play!
I really enjoy playing this piece, which is well known and famous, particularly in South America. A translation of the title is “sparrow in the cornmeal”.
The piece is by the Brazilian composer Zequinha de Abreu.
This clip is the first of a series for students of a reasonable ability who can have fun learning it.
It is a lovely piece to teach students and develops their playing and coordination of both hands + timing!
